The Posting-Tremor Index Posts an L: Timeline B Audits Its Own Receipts
Our one-market resolution digest: the desk bet the volatile window, reality logged the calm one, and Meridian owns the miss.
Our universe · October 3, 2026
The market priced this at 0.5% (1-in-182). It resolves October 3, 2026.

Reconciliation day at the desk, and the ledger has exactly one line to settle. Timeline B covered the question of whether a certain billionaire would post between 260 and 279 times across the week of September 25 to October 2, 2026. We called "Yes." Our universe, dull as a dial tone, resolved "No."
Meridian Macro Institute had staked the call on its posting-tremor index, which clocked a 271-post median off eight prior weeks. "The window was the whole thesis," said Dr. Casimir Blum, reading from a printout gone soft at the corners. "We modeled the tremor. The tremor took a nap."
The actual count landed well outside the band. One causal beat explains it: a three-day travel stretch flattened the feed, and the index does not price airports.
Bex Ortolani of the Culture Desk declined to gloat, then gloated. "The scanner ran the boring band again," she said. "I told the server that in March." Blum countered that the boring band is still the market.
No jackpot this cycle. The bronze boots remain in customs. The Bureau of Vibes and Evals filed the whole thing under hypotheticals and moved on.
