Privacy Policy
Short version: Timeline B is a static website with no user accounts, no advertising, and no cross-site tracking. We collect almost nothing. This policy explains the little we do.
1. Who we are
Timeline B (“we”, “us”) operates this Site. For any privacy question you can reach us at [email protected].
2. What we collect
- Server / technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically processes basic request data (such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) to deliver the Site and keep it secure. We do not use this to build a profile of you.
- Newsletter email (optional). If you choose to subscribe, the email address you submit is passed to a third-party email provider so we can send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- Cookie choice. When you accept or reject cookies, we store that single choice in one first-party cookie so we don’t ask again. See our Cookie Notice.
The only analytics we use is Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookieless, privacy-first tool that counts page views without setting cookies, using cross-site identifiers, or fingerprinting your device, and without collecting personal data. We run no advertising or third-party tracking pixels.
3. Why we use it
We process the above to deliver and secure the Site, to send the newsletter you asked for, and to respect your cookie preferences. Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure website and on your consent for the newsletter and any optional cookies.
4. Who we share it with
We rely on a small number of service providers, acting on our behalf:
- a hosting / content-delivery provider that serves the Site and protects it from abuse;
- an email provider that delivers the newsletter, if you subscribe.
We do not sell your personal data, and we never have.
5. Retention
Hosting logs are kept only as long as our provider needs them for security and delivery. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Your cookie choice expires about six months after you make it.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, and clear or block cookies in your browser at any time.
7. Children
The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. International visitors
The Site is served globally through a content-delivery network, so your request may be handled by servers in a country other than your own. We rely on our providers’ safeguards for any such transfers.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
10. Contact
