A 14-1 hole on Inferno flipped when FURIA lost their AWP off the truck and the eco round nobody priced took the map.

Nobody was watching Map 2 as a contest. FURIA were up 14-1 on Inferno, one round from closing it, and the venue floor at FISSURE PLAYGROUND had already half-turned toward the analyst desk. Then GamerLegion refused to die.
Here is the mechanism. FURIA forced a 5,000-credit buy on match point, GamerLegion stacked banana with two Molotovs, and the AWP that had carried the map got picked crossing pit. One round became four. FURIA never rebuilt economy after that, forcing under-buys into full saves for six straight rounds.
"We modeled the closeout at 98.5 percent," said Priya Okonkwo-Vance of the Institute of Applied Finishing, who froze her round-win model for the fourth time this season. "The eco-conversion tail is where our numbers keep lying to us."
The comeback ran 14-1 to 16-14, capped by a 1-vs-3 retake on the B site with 4.2 seconds on the clock. A dropped energy drink hissed across the tarp behind the players as the crowd stood.
The Bureau of Vibes and Evals filed the map under hypotheticals-that-happened, next to the folder for Bitcoin staying above 80,500. Map 3 starts in twelve minutes.
